  • IMPORTANT...NEW CPS SCHOLARSHIP PROCEDURE: For anyone actively pursuing a CPS please note that there is a new procedure when applying for scholarships. While funding is still available through DAS (Division of Addiction Services), The Center for Prevention & Counseling no longer processes the applications.  To get the scholarship application please visit: http://www.njpn.org/cpsscholarships/. Old School Recovery with New School Results

Then come spend a day with best-selling author Barry Bocchieri as he shares with you “Old School Recovery for New School Results.” Learn how to use the 12 steps for maximum effectiveness. Learn about the psychological concept of modeling and how to use it for your client base; use slogans for maximum effectiveness; and set up a relapse prevention group so you can combine the best of the old and the best of the new. All levels of participants welcome. Recommended reading: Things That Work: A No-Nonsense Guide to Recovery. Books can be purchased at the door.

  • CFPC is located at 61 Spring St., 3rd Floor, Newton, NJ 07860. We are located two buildings from the County Administration Office Building. Parking is behind the building on Trinity Street...click here for driving directions.

  • Be sure to bring QUARTERS for parking and park in the section marked: 25¢ for 1-1/2 hour
