About our 2009 Conference

Each June for the past 22 years the Center for Prevention and Counseling has held its annual Wellness and Recovery Day conference (formerly the Sussex County Task Force on Women and Addiction conference) to a full house. We would like to thank you for your past support of this inspirational day. In past years state funding has enabled us to hold this conference making this wonderfully empowering day for all in attendance a reality.

We are sad to report that due to cut backs at the state level, we did not receive any funding this year and as a result we are unable to hold the conference in 2009.

The good news is we are committed to bringing the conference back next year! So we ask you to mark your calendar  for June 4, 2010 when we all  will gather together once more to celebrate a day of wellness and recovery.
