Remembrance & Recovery: A Day of Healing & Hope

In honor of the lives lost to substance and alcohol use disorder, the Sussex County Recovery Community Center proudly presents Remembrance and Recovery. Experience a powerful journey of hope and healing, Remembrance and Recovery offers a space to remember those we’ve lost, support those in recovery, and stand together as a community. Let’s celebrate resilience, raise awareness, and inspire hope for the future.
An art exhibit will showcase artists and allow them to express themselves through creative expression. Through a variety of mediums and talents, we celebrate stories of growth and strength. Submit your art and walk through the gallery anytime from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM.

Honor and cherish the memory of lost loved ones by strolling through our Remembrance Display on the Newton Green. Submit a photo and/or memory to be included and visit at your convenience anytime from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM.

Finally, from 7:30-8:30 PM, join us at the Newton Green for a memorial and a candlelight service on this day of Remembrance and Recovery. Information on recovery support, mental health, and grief services, including how to get help for yourself or a loved one will also be available.
