WHY I AM WALKING?
This coming week marks a year for my son’s death. He died of an overdose the same day he was released from a drug treatment program. He had addiction issues for several years and had been quite successful in the meantime. He graduated Lincoln Tech, had a good job, had a house, truck and child. He tried several treatment facilities but continued to relapse.
In the end Mark lost everything he worked so hard for to only end up a statistic. My son died May 29, 2018 . He had great expectations for himself but for some reason he was unable to remain on the sober path. Addiction had that much power…
