WHY ARE WE WALKING?
In 2017, we lost a dear nephew to overdose. Another nephew has been working hard on his recovery for 22 months. This year, and for many years to come, we will make a stand against this devastating problem, defined by experts as a chronic neurobehavioral disease.
Genesis Addiction and Behavioral Medicine- Team Genesis has joined forces with CFPC. Now, individuals suffering from this disease, and the family and friends who suffer with them, have a place to seek help. Here they will find compassionate easy access to the best available evidence-based medical and behavioral care. A place where hope is ever-present. The barriers to treatment are many, but they are not insurmountable. Treatment is expensive, but most of the people we see have little or no direct cost for their treatment. Recovery, and each life saved, are priceless.
