EMS Class – 5 Minutes to Help
In an effort to encourage overdose victims to consider assistance, Five Minutes to Help was developed by the New Jersey Department of Health’s Office of Emergency Medical Services. The goal is to arm New Jersey’s first responders with new knowledge and communication skills that can be applied on the scene, post-overdose reversal, to encourage patients to seek help for their addiction and increase their awareness of available recovery resources in their communities.
This training will be provided FREE of charge with a complimentary dinner and counts for 4 EMT elective credits. There is a prerequisite on-line class worth 1 CEU that must be completed. Click here to visit the DOH Learning Management Site.
Registration is required and will be limited to the first 25 registrants.
