At The Center for Prevention and Counseling (CFPC), we offer a specialized Medical-Legal Partnership (MLP) to provide free legal aid and case management for Sussex County residents who are committed to their recovery journey.
By integrating legal assistance into our clinical care, we help you tackle the "social determinants of health"—the non-medical obstacles that cause stress and hinder long-term wellness.
Through our collaboration with Legal Services of Northwest New Jersey (LSNWJ) and the Law Offices of Michael J. Hanifan, we provide expert legal representation in the following areas:

To receive these exclusive legal services, individuals must meet the following criteria:
- Sussex County Residency: You must be a resident of Sussex County, New Jersey.
- CFPC Client: You must be an active participant in our substance use treatment programs.
